[...] The cost of the Conference is $30; this includes two days of sessions and three meals. They are having a lot of different activities in conjunction with this event, and you can see a full list here. [...]

Ahh this is a good idea. It's good to put this somewhere you know you'll be able to look back at and gauge how well you did.

I have a few goals myself:

1. Do a better job praying for my family members (wife, her parents/siblings' family, my parents)
2. More consistently praying for our future children (whenever they may come)
3. Pass out more Gospel tracts and actually talk to people about!
4. Do a better job at being a Youth Sponsor by better communicating with teenagers and engaging with them on a more personal level
5. Work on being a more patient person (Mainly when I'm driving ;-) )
6. Pay down our debts significantly!! (School Loans)
7. Lose about 20 lbs...and keep it off!
8. Have Family devotions every night (Currently reading A.W. Tozer's Attributes of God Vol 1.) and my personal devotion every morning.
9. Attend a nice couples' retreat to build our relationship with each other through Christ. (hehe this one is cheating cuz we already have reservations for October)

10. I'll go along with Pastor Pete's bonus here and say continue cheering on the SC Gamecocks even though being their fan probably isn't good for my health.

I look forward to serving God with each of the Youth staff this year and ministering to the teenagers God brings my way.

Peter,
Thank you for sharing your goals and ambitions with us! Over the past few weeks I have been thinking about my goals as well for this new year and I have come up with a few. You have blessed my heart tremendously and made me realize that I need to be more specific and set my goals higher. We can do all things through Christ, who gives us strength. Some goals I have thought of already are to read more marriage/ parenting books, be consistent in my daily devotions, be more disciplined and organized in general, lose weight and gain muscle. After reading your goals, I realized I need to be more specific, more challenging, and I think it is a great idea to set up accountability partners as well! Thank you again for the encouragement and honesty you have brought forth through this blog! We love you all and miss you all too!

Come home Steven, Come home Steven, Come home Steven, Come home, Come home. It is way too quiet around here! And we need to laugh. We are impatiently waiting for Monday. I'm cooking steak!

Good to see everyone's smiling faces even though I could tell that yall had better air conditioning than us in Macon. I think we have a great team in Argentina and our prayers are with you every day. I watched video but no sound. Don't know whether my computer or just doesn't work here. Cherish the time in missionary work for the Lord because you will soon be home but your mission work doesn't end but only has a new beginning. Love in Christ, Bonnie Elmore
